He discovered historical "bathtub gins" where
botanicals were infused but not redistilled, keeping all
the flavour in the bottle.
Steeped in history
Bathtub Gin was created 15 years ago
from one man’s search for a bolder, more
flavoursome gin to enjoy more delicious
cocktails with family and friends.
The hunt for a
bigger bolder gin
Our MethodThe flavour is drawn out slowly over weeks; in winter the cold slows
extraction and in summer, warmth works faster. The result is a gin
lightly tinted by its own botanicals, with a natural creaminess and the
full character of the steep in every bottle.
Steeped in flavour
Bathtub Gin is made by cold compounding, one of
the oldest and rarest methods in gin. Six hand-
selected botanicals steeped in a carefully crafted
London Dry Gin and never redistilled.
One of the oldest and rarest
methods in gin makingFinally, every bottle of Bathtub Gin is
handwrapped, strung and wax-dipped at our
home in Kent, England.
Yes, it takes longer and has to be made in
smaller batches but we are committed to
putting more in, as we know this creates
the best tasting, best looking gin out there.
A better gin
