Host a Paint & Punch Party
Inspired by the joyfulness of our Paint & Punch evening celebrating our collaboration with Harlie Brown Studio, here’s a simple guide to hosting your own creative soirée
What You’ll Need (According to Harlie & Dan)
- Pre-primed canvases: Ensure good paint adhesion and even drying.
- Paint: Primary colors plus black and white are all you need—mix them to create every shade! (Tip: You’ll use less paint than you think.)
- Palettes: A paper plate works perfectly for mixing.
- Brushes & Pencils: One pencil and two brushes per guest.
- Water & Paper Towels: Essential for cleaning brushes and drying them.
- Optional Easels: Mini table easels are handy, though not essential.
- Inspiration: Scatter art pieces, use phones, or simply let creativity flow!
Prep Your Punch Like a Pro
Batch your punches ahead of time to stay out of the bar and in the fun. Prepare everything except ice and mixers, and store in the fridge. Like a good stew, the flavors get better as they mingle!
An Artist Approved Cheat!
Not everyone’s a budding Picasso—so why not use stencils? Dan created his own designs, letting guests trace outlines before adding their colourful touch. You can do the same with festive or abstract designs for foolproof fun!
Host your own evening of art, punch, and festive cheer, and get ready to admire the masterpieces (and cocktails) created!
